These Terms of Service (the “Terms”) govern your use of the iOS application CubeSolver AI (the “App”), operated by Ganzhou Xiaomai Information Technology Co., Ltd. (“we”, “us”, “our”). By downloading, installing, or using the App you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

1. Description of Service

CubeSolver AI is an iOS mobile app that lets users scan a Rubik’s Cube using the device camera and obtain step-by-step solving instructions. Some features (extended formula library, advanced solving modes) are gated behind an auto-renewing subscription described below.

2. License Grant

Subject to your compliance with these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to download and use the App on Apple-branded devices that you own or control, solely for your personal, non-commercial use.

The App offers paid auto-renewing subscriptions sold exclusively through Apple’s In-App Purchase system. Localized prices displayed at the point of purchase are determined by Apple StoreKit based on your Apple ID country or region; the reference USD prices below are indicative and may differ in your local currency.

5. Billing and Auto-Renewal

6. Free Trial

The Weekly plan includes a 3-day free trial for first-time subscribers. Auto-renewal at the regular Weekly price begins immediately when the trial ends. The Yearly plan does not include a free trial.

Turning off auto-renewal during the free trial will end the trial at its scheduled end date and no charge will be made. Any unused portion of the trial period will be forfeited if you upgrade or change plans during the trial.

7. Managing and Cancelling Your Subscription

Subscriptions are billed and managed through your Apple ID. You can cancel at any time before the next renewal date to prevent further charges. The steps below are provided by Apple and take less than a minute.

Method 1 — From iPhone or iPad Settings

  1. Open the Settings app.
  2. Tap [your name] at the top of the screen.
  3. Tap Subscriptions.
  4. Tap CubeSolver AI in the list of active subscriptions.
  5. Tap Cancel Subscription and confirm.

Method 2 — From the App Store App

  1. Open the App Store app.
  2. Tap your profile picture at the top-right corner.
  3. Tap Subscriptions.
  4. Select CubeSolver AI.
  5. Tap Cancel Subscription and confirm.

Method 3 — On a Mac

  1. Open the App Store on your Mac.
  2. Click your name at the bottom of the sidebar, then click View Information at the top of the window. Sign in if prompted.
  3. Scroll to Subscriptions and click Manage.
  4. Find CubeSolver AI and click Edit, then Cancel Subscription.

8. Refunds

All refund requests for in-app purchases must be submitted to Apple through https://support.apple.com/HT204084. We do not and cannot process refunds for purchases made through the App Store. If you have trouble cancelling or believe you were charged in error, email [email protected] with your Apple ID region, approximate purchase date, and the App Store order ID. We respond within 2 business days.

9. Intellectual Property

The App, including its source code, design, graphics, logos, and content, is owned by Ganzhou Xiaomai Information Technology Co., Ltd. and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other applicable laws. Solutions and step sequences generated by the App for your physical Rubik’s Cube are yours to use freely. Nothing in these Terms transfers ownership of the App or its underlying technology to you.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided “AS IS” and “AS AVAILABLE” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any defects will be corrected. Color-recognition results, scanning accuracy, and solving algorithms may be inaccurate; you are responsible for verifying results before relying on them.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Ganzhou Xiaomai Information Technology Co., Ltd. and its affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, profits, or revenue, arising out of or related to your use of the App. Our total liability for any direct damages shall not exceed the amount you have paid us through subscriptions in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.

12. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the App if you breach these Terms or use the App in a way that risks harm to other users, our service, or third parties. Upon termination, the license granted to you ends immediately. Sections 9 (Intellectual Property), 10 (Disclaimer), 11 (Liability), and 13 (Governing Law) survive termination.

13. Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the People’s Republic of China, without regard to its conflict-of-law provisions. Any dispute arising out of or related to these Terms or your use of the App shall be resolved by the competent courts located in Ganzhou City, Jiangxi Province, China.

14. Privacy

Your use of the App is also subject to our Privacy Policy, which describes what information we collect and how we use it.

15. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The effective date at the top reflects the latest revision. Material changes will be announced in-App prior to taking effect. Your continued use of the App after a change indicates acceptance of the revised Terms.
