Ganzhou Xiaomai Information Technology Co., Ltd. (“we”, “us”, “our”) respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information the CubeSolver AI iOS application (the “App”) collects, how that information is used and shared, how long it is retained, and the choices you have. By downloading, installing, or using the App you agree to this Policy.

1. Information We Collect

The App is designed to operate without a user account. We collect only the minimum information needed to deliver subscription features, keep the service reliable, and meet our legal obligations.

1.2 Subscription and Purchase Information

When you subscribe through Apple’s In-App Purchase system, Apple provides us with purchase information so that we can verify your subscription and grant entitlement:

Apple also sends us server-to-server notifications (for example: renewal, cancellation, refund, grace period, billing retry) so that we can keep your subscription status accurate.

1.3 Camera Access

The App requests access to your device camera in order to scan the colored stickers on a Rubik’s Cube. Camera frames are processed in real time on your device to detect color positions; we do not record video, save photographs, or transmit any camera frames to our servers. Color-detection results stay on your device.

You can grant or revoke camera permission at any time in iOS Settings → CubeSolver AI → Camera. If permission is denied, the cube-scanning feature will not be available, but other parts of the App continue to work.

1.4 What We Do NOT Collect

The App does not collect your name, email address, phone number, Apple ID, IDFA, precise or coarse location, contacts, photos, microphone, health data, or any financial account data. As described in §1.3, the camera is used only on-device for color detection — no images leave your device. Payment is handled entirely by Apple — we never see your card or bank information.

2. How We Use Information

We do not use your information for advertising, profiling, or sell it to third parties.

3. How Information Is Shared

We do not share or sell information with advertisers, data brokers, or analytics networks.

4. Data Retention

Subscription and purchase records are retained for at least 7 years to satisfy Apple’s transaction-validation requirements and applicable tax and accounting obligations. Device and technical logs are retained for up to 90 days and then purged or anonymized.

5. Data Security

We use industry-standard safeguards, including encryption in transit (TLS), encryption at rest for subscription records, access controls, and audit logging. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure; we cannot guarantee absolute security.

6. Your Rights

You may request access to or deletion of data associated with your device by emailing [email protected]. Because the App does not require an account, please include the device identifier shown in the App’s settings so that we can locate your records. We will respond within 30 days.

Deleting the App without first cancelling your subscription does not cancel the subscription — Apple will continue to auto-renew it. See our cancellation guide in the Terms of Service.

7. Children

The App is not directed to children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect information from children. If you believe a child has used the App, contact us and we will delete the associated records.

8. International Transfers

If you use the App from outside Canada, your information will be transferred to, stored, and processed in Canada. By using the App you consent to such transfer.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The effective date at the top reflects the latest revision. Material changes will be announced in-App prior to taking effect.
